Sample Uber Wishlist, Emily
Client: Emily
Style: Sophisticated, Elegant, Classic, Edgy, Understated, Minimalist
Body type: Plus Hourglass/ Triangle
Career: Tech Industry
Lifestyle: Casual, urban lifestyle including riding the bus to and from work. No kids.
Approach: Emily loves clothes and enjoys following fashion and finding new plus size options. However, she was looking for more resources and someone to collaborate with as she felt she had been in a bit of a style rut. We had a lot of fun collaborating periodically over a few years. I often offered ideas for pairing and new styles, she looked for pieces on her own and when she didn’t find what she was hoping for, I stepped in with a wishlist.

Well, I had the time of my life on the Boden site. Yes! We’re still going with sophisticated and minimalist. But, we also want to bring in fun colors and prints. This list is all about the fun stuff. Simplify the looks by pairing with your existing neutral pieces or amp things up by mixing and matching these bolder pieces. It’s your call. All of these are functional for work at home or play and will make you feel your best. As per usual, I’ve opted to give you more pieces and less commentary. Enjoy!
I love this in either color/print for you. If you want something over your arms, one of your button down tops would look great. (Tied and/or belted, of course.)
A soft, comfortable, flattering tee that you can wear everyday. Emerald green is so good on you. There are other color options, as well.
You’re into print pants. This pair will feel like pajamas while you work but will be super hip when you head out.
Just in case you are looking for a swimsuit this year, this would look smashing on you and is super functional for swimming, too.
Both of these lightweight sweaters are fun, bold and yet still keep things simple. I know yellow is not normally your thing, but grey sure is. I also love either one with a neutral pant or skirt.
Both of these bottoms are a major win. I had lots of success in that area for you, which was especially gratifying. I can see you wearing either of these on the regular, especially with a hip graphic tee and sneakers or sandals. Again, great for home or work.
Roll out of bed, toss on a great jersey dress and be done with it.
Obsessed.
A go-to for sure.
This silk print blouse is outside your comfort zone. However, it still feels sophisticated. Pair it with navy, white or chambray to tone it down. It’s hip and can be useful all year. It’s also a nice over shirt when paired with a sleeveless option.
Super cute, super useful. Navy and khaki are sure to please. Red would be fun to mix things up.
Last but not least, a great striped tee is an essential. Boden is the place to go. Of course, Bretons are always a win. Here’s a short sleeve option for summer.
And there you have it. Who knew I would find so many glorious options at Boden. It feels like a fun way to dive into summer and maintain your high quality pieces.
Have fun and let me know how it goes!
